about
The million dollar neighborhood isn't so much a place as it is a temperament. With the right lens, you can see it anywhere and everywhere. Here is our attempt to sonically describe that state of mind. Recorded (almost) entirely analog in our apartment, we hope this will elicit the paradoxical feelings of morose-filled hyper-stimulation, chipper-agitation, and promise-with-a-backdrop-of-chaos that are part and parcel of the place. Ultimately, you should feel like a million bucks.
